Sorry it's been a while.

I already regard him with a mixture of fondness and annoyance. And I sure do admit that he - and other rambunctious kids - are interesting and amusing.
Yeah, his sister gives me an idea of the "horror" of living with him, but she wrestles him down often too.

I'm not quite done TSATF yet. I didn't get into it till late, and then the holiday season has meant some running around. Too bad it didn't seem to garner much interest from the book club. I do find it interesting and will be done by the end of the year. (Which usually sounds like a weak promise, eh? But not so bad now.)

He is exceedingly spoiled, but, as you say, it's the parents' fault. It's complicated situation though, which I won't go into. But, yes, he's funny - in retrospect - by the time I'm telling his latest exploit, or illustrating his interactions with his uncle; but not so funny when he's shouting in my ear, stealing my book, or biting my hands when I restrain him, as he did during a car ride last week. Anyways, I finally know the joys of having a little brother.
