Thanos is a much better (super) villain... yesterday I found a list of the most powerful MCU universe beings and I was surprised at how low he ranked: https://www.bustle.com/entertainment...vel-characters, albeit much higher in other lists. Vader might have been better if he were not redeemed IMHO.

    Basheer or Quark ?

besides vader's redemption, what was it about thanos that makes you rate him higher?

that's a toughie. one of the fun things about star trek in general and maybe DS9 in particular is the exposure to difference species and stories associated with them. the ferengi are fascinating and I think the show did a good job of occasional ventures into them and their culture. quark was a good character.

but then so was dr bashir, and I really liked him. and since he was in star fleet and was able to be worked into the stories better, I gotta go with him. im nearing the end of the series and im wondering if he and ezri are going to get connected. she was just about to tell him she loved him but he was distracted by his work trying to find a cure for odo that he missed it and she didn't get a chance to explain.

I know to an extent it depends on the movie, but in so much as you can---movies under 2 hours or movies over 2 hours?

Perhaps because Thanos answered to no one but himself... Vader, after all, as a Sith was a toady for the Emperor.

2-hours+ is ok... I like to get my bang for the buck with my senior discount/cheap Tuesday when I pay for my expensive popcorn and then recline in decadence shutting out the world maybe once or twice a year.

    Trains, planes, or automobiles ?

boy I haven't been to the theater in years, ~2005.

that's sounds nice, except for the expensive popcorn part.

I think you've asked that one before, and im wondering now about my internal consistency! I don't think you could pay me enough to get on an airplane, which is unfortunate, because there are a couple of places in Europe id like to go to/go back to.

id rather ride a bike than drive a car.

and trains can have a certain appeal to them, so lets go with them.

    hah---steve martin or john candy?

have you seen roxanne tailor? i loved steve martin in that.

i used to train and race a long time ago, and i still love speed, but most of my outdoor riding these days falls along the lines of commuting, sometimes in bad weather, and a mtn bike or something similar is a bit more suitable.

    chick flick or chick lit?

oh its a reallllllly cute romantic comedy well worth watching, a modern day retelling of Cyrano de Bergerac. steve martin place an excellent role.

I think you have asked that one before and hopefully im consistent---no ties for me but if someone forces me, id have to go with the traditional necktie---unless maybe I was magically transported to the southwest.

    chocolate or peanut m&m's?

Chick flick, right ? Nah... the premise eludes me; a little Steve Martin goes a long way.

Hmmm, I think I've seen this question before too... go with plain m&m's this time.

"Serenity" or the original ST "Enterprise" (Kirk version) ?

    (snicker)

Snickers for me, though I'd prolly not turn down a floppy hat with a feather to wear while gallivanting about in France.

    Red Vines or Twizzlers ?

if i could transport myself as opposed to having to fly, or take a boat, france is a place id want to go back to visit.

i think marketing wise, we don't even have red vines here, so i'll go with the twizzlers.
