    Smile Hiy Everyone!

Hiy! Erm, i'm not relating to any published Literature, just yet, but i'm currently attempting to write a novel. It's going quite well, except i've based it in America, (Spur of the moment), and there a few details that i can't fill in.

If you dont mind me asking a few questions, don't want to be pushy, can you post in this thread please

    1) I know there are 7 lessons, but 2 different lunch-times, how does that work?

    2) The Years over there, does it go; -
    Freshman, 13 yrs
    Sophmore, 14yrs
    Junior, 15
    Senior, 16?

    3) Anyone know how American Football is different to Rugby

4)What times do school start, or is it depending where you are?

    5) When's all the different term breaks? E.g, Spring break, Summer term etc?

6), Finally for the moment, What holidays do you get off? Presidents's day? Bank-holidays?
Vixen xx BTW, great to be here

It will be hard to cover it all in a forum post, so I suggest watching football. A few things off the top of my head (I used to play rugby at the varsity level):

    - armour, helmet, protective gear in football
    - you pass the ball forward in football
    - play stops when the player running the ball is tackled
    - a try is called a touchdown

there are 2 lunches because the cafeteria isn't big enough to accommodate the entire student body.

freshmen in high school are 14 year olds and seniors 17 year olds.

generally all students must in homeroom by 8:00 am and classes begin 15 minutes thereafter.

extended breaks are thanksgiving which are 4 days including the weekend, christmas and new year which is a week, and summer vacation which is about 2 and a half months.
If it were done when 'tis done, then 'twere well it were done quickly.
