Why has my mind not been informed?
I feel trapped
By my own thoughts.
My mind has me working
Like a workhorse,
Pulling the plow across
A field of dreams, ideas, theories and crazed thoughts.
It will not leave me be,
unless I do its work.
All I can do is follow its command
and let the ideas flow.
Freedom is only another thought
On which my mind will feed
Then push on me to try and obtain-
Wait... that's another thought. Damn.
Beyond the clouds, my mind wanders in the stars.
