    Your favorite album?

There's a number of "what's your favorite?" threads here, I know, but I thought I'd fire up one of my own. So... what 's your favorite musical album of all?

My favorite album is [WITH_TEETH] by Nine Inch Nails; I like everything about it. It's by my favorite artist, the album art is simple but effective, and the songs are excellent examples of industrial/electronic rock, like the singles "Only", "The Hand That Feeds", and "Every Day is Exactly the Same."

    Track listing

01 All the Love in the World
02 You Know What You Are?
    03 The Collector
    04 The Hand That Feeds
    05 Love is Not Enough
06 Every Day is Exactly the Same
    07 With Teeth
    08 Only
    09 Getting Smaller
    10 Sunspots
11 The Line Begins to Blur
    12 Beside You in Time
    13 Right Where it Belongs

That's a pretty long album! The longest album I've heard of had 100 songs in it, though I forgot the title >.>

Trompe Le Monde - The Pixies.

It has taken me more than 15 years to appreciate this album. A friend of mine gave me the cassette tape when I was in high school. I couldn't get into it, because upon first listen, it's a bunch of grating noise. Tromple Le Monde is not the best way to get started on the Pixies. Then I revisited the album my first year of college and I could deal with Head On and Bird Dream of the Olympus Mons and Subbaculture to an extent but I could never give the album a full listen. Now I'm 32 and I pulled Trompe Le Monde out of the archives and for the first time I can say that this is album is great from the first track to the last. But for anyone who is just getting started on the Pixies, I would recommend Bassanova and Doolittle and Come On Pilgrim. Then give Trompe Le Monde a listen.

    ooo... tough one.
Maybe Echoes, Silence, Patience, Grace- Foo Fighters. I've loved the foo fighters from the first time i heard Everlong. I think this album takes every essence of their other albums and combines it into what are by far some of their best songs ever.

“Who’s Next” continues to be the first thought that enters my mind when this question is asked:

    As far as rock goes:

The Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd

Sgt. Pepper's Lonley Heart's Club Band - The Beatles

    Untitled IV - Led Zeppelin
    The Moments of Dominion
    That happen on the Soul

Wow. It's almost depressing to go through this and recognize a few artists at most.

As of right now, my favorite album would be "The Sound of Madness" by Shinedown.

My favorite album is probably Pet Sounds, by the Beach Boys. The thing is, my favorite band is The Smiths and I like a lot of their music, but since all I have is a compilation album, there isn't one album by them that I like the best.
Pet Sounds, on the other hand, doesn't have one song on it that I dislike.
Oh, Time, Strength, Cash, and Patience!
