Two reasons: I was asked, and I rather enjoy it.

I may have scared him to death today: I very nearly ran him (or possibly one of his associates) over with my bike this morning.
Whose footprints would you find in the fridge?
They could be my own. I have been known to raid it occasionally (and caught in the act).
So, how old are you?
Not very old… 50 years young (Oh, all right: I’ll be 51 when this is posted).
If you had a personal theme song what would it be?
The Stolen Child by Seán Tyrrell, after a poem by W. B. Yeats. Kudos to Niamh for helping me find it after hearing it on the radio one day.

What makes you keep coming back?
Good friends, stimulating discussions and my inherent curiosity.
Are you happy with the way things are here?Yes, as indicated above, I am. Very much so, in fact.

Dunno… Would he like to have one? Of course he would. Sure. Yes.
Which countries have you visited?
Norway, Denmark, Finland, Britain, France, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Algeria, Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, Thailand, Kenya, Tanzania...
Which languages do you speak?
My native Swedish of course, then English, French and German. I also understand the other Scandinavian languages reasonably well if the speaker slows down a bit.
How do you like your home town?
Not bad… A medium sized (for Sweden) town with plenty of lakes, forests and stuff nearby for me to haunt with my camera.
If you could live somewhere different, where would it be and why?
I have no particular preferences, but as already indicated I am a very curious bloke, and I think I could make myself at home just about anywhere.
Do you have any pets?
No, but as I said last year, the neighbours cat had assumed ownership of us. Since then, he has upgraded his reign to dictatorship, and we must now follow his slightest whim. Are all cats like that???
What makes you happy?
My family (most of the time), the mog mentioned above, positive people, a pretty scenery, a task well done…
Would you choose a desperate Hope or an unknown Faith?
Neither, I think…
Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God/atheism?
Very comfortable. I am about as religious as a piece of rock (If I am wrong about that I am going to be in very dire straits).
Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?
Oh, I don’t know… Just pick some ridiculously handsome bloke…
Who is your favourite Beatle?
Paul.
Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?
It’s getting a wee bit hard picking a new one every year, but let’s see… Winter is closing in and I detest that… If I could hibernate it would not bother me, right? A bear! I want to be a bear.
What makes you feel great about yourself?
Getting some particularly tricky task done, helping my daughter with her homework, learning something new… and a number of other things.
How did you meet your significant other?
We met at work, and she has managed to put up with my antics ever since. Impressive, wouldn’t you say?
Who inspires you most?
That differs, but people who manage to have a positive outlook in spite of a lot of hardship and problems always impress me.
What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)
I am in fact a bit of a Jack of all trades… I am not half bad when it comes to making computers do my bidding, and I think I can convey knowledge and coach people pretty well.
What is the one thing you must do before you die?
Live.
If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
I already do: Quality engineering and improvement techniques.
What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?
Trying… Whatever I go for, I would really hate not having tried to do it to the best of my ability.
Do you have a tasty recipe for life that you could share for a reasonable price? … Is it REALLY tasty?
Are we talking about food here? I do not use any recepe, however: I often just whip something together, and I like spicy food (which is what makes the missus very suspicious about my concoctions.
What method do you cherish above all others, as means to improving your life?
Trying to keep my mind as open as possible. It really is as simple as that, but as we all know it is easier said than done. I’m still making progress, though.
What one thing would you NEED to have on a deserted island if you didn't have to worry over food and water?
Company I guess? Or maybe a boat…
If you were a king/queen for a day, what would you do?
Abdicate….

I couldn’t say… It’s a wild mix.

Mythbusters… Top Gear… Stuff like that.

Last words you said out loud?
Er… I prefer not to repeat them, but I was clumsy and bumped my toe on a treashold. I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.

What do you do (for a living) to be able to keep your LitNet addiction going? And are you happy with your chosen profession?
I am quite happy being a Quality Engineer. It is both interesting and rewarding, even if some of my peers have dubbed it professional whining.
Would you rather be an educated fool or an ignorant fool?
I have met both kinds, and have to say that educated fools tend to be hopeless cases, while the ignorant ones often can be saved by adding a bit of knowledge.
What would you like to be if you could change your profession?
A man of independent means…. Oh, you mean what profession I would like?
Which one of the seven dwarves are you and why?
Sleepy. I feel just like him at the moment.
What is your most outstanding feature?
All of them.
If you could change one thing about the way you look, what would that be?
Change? Why change a winning concept? It has served me for 50+ years by now.

What should you be doing at the moment instead of answering these questions?
Relaxing… Hey, I am relaxed… That means I’m doing what I should be doing for once…

A whole day being free to follow my whims (not going to happen anytime soon).

naming one would serve no useful purpouse, as I keep changing my mind.

An oldie: It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

Monets Water lilys.
Bowie, yay or nay?
Yay… At least to some extent: I don’t like everything he’s done, but a fair percentage is not bad.
Wonderful Superman or depressing Batman?
I still consider Superman to be too super by far… I.e. booooooring.
Something you want to forget but you never can?
A couple of experiences from my younger days, when friends perished.
If you could relive one moment in your life whenever you wanted to, what would it be?
Please. Not in front of the children…
What was the best thing that happened to you during this year?
I decided to quit a task I never wanted in the first place, but was talked into anyway: There is a lesson to be learned from that experience….
