White whales, blossoming,
Plumes of spray
From deep-blue seas.
The great white vision,
Appearing- and then submerging-
forever on the edge of the horizon.
And tonight,
Me
Alone
With you,
In my mind,
Like white whales,
tantalizing,
from atop a lonely mast.
Not sure why no one replied. This is simple and sweet. But who wants to be thought of as a whale? (That's a joke.)
