I had very traditional breakfast today, half paratha with honey and cream and a cup of tea. My mother makes excellent plain crispy parathas.

I usually have oatmeal and coffee for breakfast which is what I'm going to have this morning.

I had to look up paratha. Here's a recipe: http://indianfood.about.com/od/bread...Make-Parathas/

I'm lovin' the fact that this is in the "serious discussions" forum. Could someone please sticky it?

First of all a glass of water together with my morning medicines, followed by porridge (cold oats soaked overnight with a sliced banana), a piece of wholemeal bread with cheese, and a hot cup of tea.

My favourite is : A breakfast burrito which is bacon, a runny poached egg and tomato relish inside a wheat wrap.

My other favourite is eggs benedict which is runny poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce (butter/mayo style) but if you eat this too often you won't live long........................
