    Please try to get your facts right. Lepidus does not leave the Triumvirate, he is put in prison by Caesar after Caesar has defeated Pompey. Caesar claims Lepidus has abused his power in the Triumvirate and by putting him in prison strips him of this power leaving Antony and Caesar as the two remaining Triumvirs. <br>Also please correct the spelling of Antony's first wife, it is FULVIA not Fluvia.

    True, Lepidus was removed as a triumvir, but I do not believe he was sent to prison. Instead he continued his position of Pontifex Maximus, the highest ranking religious official in Rome. He eventually died of old age.

    Besides, the only practical purpose of a Roman prison is a place to send someone awaiting execution.
