Has anyone ever read this book? I saw the movie, and liked the story, so I bought it. I sort of like the movie better, but I liked the book as well. It portrays the character never telling his part in the woman's death, and how he loved her, in his own way of course. He is a very intriguing character, I think he goes through life assuming he can do as he wishes, especially with regard to women. Yet he has a better side as well, in that he struggles with wondering if he should tell the truth or not and be on trial for murder. He comes so close people realizing how he is connected with the dead woman, it is eerie. I won't say anymore, but if you haven't read this book, you ought to read it.
