quoting poems on a web site

    Hello all,

I would like to quote from one of Ms. Dickinson's poems on my web site, as an introduction to a song. Can anyone help me what is required regarding obtaining permission to do so?

    Thank you,

    Fran

Emily Dickenson is Pre 1923 and there for pre copyright and can be quoted freely on a site if on the public domain. But if in doubt, just provide a link to a source after posting the poem.
